Ningbo Haiyue New Material Co., Ltd (“Hireal”) is the first company in the world who was licensed CDAlky by Lummus to build the Alkylation unit featured with largest capacity of 600 KTA, most advanced equipment and technology in the world. Now, CDAlky is an alkylation technology using sulfuric acid as catalyst to produce alkylate with high octane.
Alkylate is one of key products which Hireal is spending great efforts producing and promoting.
Characterized by free of olefin, aromatic and oxygen, trace of sulfur, low RVP, high RON and MON, little difference between MON and RON, it has been largely used as high quality gasoline additive to enhance gasoline quality and reduce automobile exhaust emissions because olefin and aromatic content can be decreased once alkylate is blended into gasoline pool with appropriate ratio and consequently PM2.5 density from automobile exhaust will be significantly cut down.
The smog treatment in Los Angeles, USA and London, UK has demonstrated that using alkylate instead of MTBE as gasoline additive will enhance gasoline quality, significantly reduce automobile exhaust emissions, and eliminate water pollution resulting from MTBE.
Given the fact that the environmental improvement in China has become more and more urgent and alkylate is such a good gasoline additive, the nation wide promotion of using alkylate will substantially improve the environment where we live.
